Christ said “Do not judge, lest you be judged.” This does not mean we don’t have discernment or standards of right and wrong. It means we do not condemn others even when they fail to meet them. Judgment is arrogance. Judgment says I would have said or done differently had the script been flipped and I was in their shoes. Not only that, but judgment admits of no mercy. Ultimately, only God is in a position to weigh every thought and action and address it accordingly.
