People don’t want to be exposed to the unhapiness of others. Pain is burdensome. Pain is uncomfortable. Why do you think everyone wants you to smile in photos all the time? No one who prefers to live in denial of a problem can solve it. It follows that healing happens in a private, often solitary place, or in a select company of confidence. Healing is rarely ever the domain of the public.
