Sometimes we get zeroed in on achieving a particular goal, like quitting pornography, eating better, exercising or meditating more, at the expense of all else. Focus is a good thing, but we need to keep in mind that no one area is the be-all, end-all of our life. A porn or drug or gambling or food addict struggles in more areas than one. Given that life is multi-faceted, we should measure how we are doing by multiple metrics.
