Regret is often a manifestation of human pride. When we experience regret, we typically wish we had more of at least one of three things in the past—knowledge, power, or wisdom. The truth is only God possesses all of these attributes ad infinitum at any point in time.
Evolution is fundamental to our nature as people. This means that our knowledge, power and wisdom are capable of growing over time through education and experience.
Choosing to love with no regrets is a humble acknowledgement of our humanity and a respect for the processes to which God has entrusted us.
